nova vida & new life

para muitos as resoluções fazem-se na passagem do ano. para mim é depois das férias com o regresso às aulas. apesar de já ter terminado os meus estudos há alguns anos, considero-me uma eterna estudante e por isso setembro é tão importante para mim.

este ano, tem ainda mais importância pois foi mês que eu e o s decidimos para celebrar o nosso segundo casamento.

agora que já tivemos outra festa de sonho, que finalmente ele conheceu a minha incrivelmente louca e fantástica família, agora que já chegamos a tóquio e já começamos a assentar raízes (e com isto quero dizer que já sei onde os internet cafés estão) finalmente posso poder comunicar-me e dedicar-me em pleno a vocês.

e como já devem ter reparado, o blog está diferente. com uma cara nova, e com duplo idioma. com cara nova porque achei que chegou a altura de fazer uma mudança e com novo idioma porque agora mais que nunca, este blog é uma ferramenta para comunicar-me com todos vocês sobre as minhas aventuras pelo mundo,  o que vou aprendendo, e a minha interpretação do mundo. mas mais importante é uma ferramenta para contar à minha família que a vida está a tratar-me bem neste lado do mundo.

ora, toda a gente sabe que os portugueses são quase todos bilíngues, e como tal não houve a necessidade de escrever em português...até agora.

até agora os meus pais não me o tinham pedido e além de completamente lisonjeada por saber que eles querem ler o  blog, tenho todo o gosto que eles entendam o que por aqui se passa.

assim que é isso.

for many, resolutions are made around new year's eve or so. for me it's after the holidays with back to school. although i have completed my studies some years ago, i like to consider myself an eternal student and that's the reason why september is so important to me.

this year has even more importance to me as it was the month s and i decided to celebrate our second wedding.

now that we've had another dream party, that he finally met my incredibly crazy and fantastic family, now that we have arrived to tokyo and have already started to lay down some roots (and by that i mean that i know where all the internet cafes are - no internet at home yet) i can finally communicate and dedicate myself fully to you all.

as you may have noticed by now, the blog is different, has a new face and is now bilingual. with a new face because i thought it was time for a change. and bilingual because now, more than ever, this blog allows me to communicate with all of you about my adventures around the world, about my learnings and my interpretation of the world. but most importantly it is a tool to let my family know that life is treating me well on this side of the world.

well, everyone knows that almost all portuguese people are at least bilingual and as such i didn't feel the need to write in portuguese...until now.

until now my parents didn't ask me to, and besides of completely flattered to know that my parents want to read this blog, it is my pleasure that they understand what it's going on in here.
